The Rab Xenair Light Insulated Jacket is a new, technically sophisticated piece that uses proven materials and offers many advantages over down insulation.

The jacket is based on PrimaLoft® Gold Active+ insulation, which is made from 55% recycled materials. This insulation is ingeniously zoned to better support thermoregulation during higher intensity activities. An undeniable advantage over down insulation is its easier maintenance and moisture resistance.

The outer material is proven 20D Pertex Quantum Air with a quality DWR finish. Thanks to its open woven structure, it offers a great balance between wind resistance and very high breathability, which you will especially appreciate when moving intensively, as it will keep you dry and warm for much longer. It can also cope with light rain or snow (not waterproof!).

In the armpit, where the body produces more heat, only Pertex Quantum Air is placed without insulation to make excess heat as easy to escape as possible.
