The classic thicker 3-layer GORE-TEX for hiking is now made from 100% recycled fabric and offers durable protection from inclement weather during year-round adventures. Windproof and breathable, the Kangri GTX Jacket will keep you dry in the heaviest downpours and provide protection from raging winds. Additional ventilation via deep two-way zippers allows for effective temperature regulation in challenging terrain. An elasticated hem and drawcord at the waist allow you to adjust the fit and keep warm when the temperature plummets.The Kangri GTX has a fully adjustable hood that hugs the face tightly, protecting you from wind and rain but still allowing good vision and head turning. It can be pulled down around the face to prevent flapping, has a laminated hard shell that provides great coverage, and a fleece-lined chin guard that eliminates chafing. In poor conditions, the hem and hood can be quickly adjusted with one hand. The jacket has a two-way YKK® AquaGuard® VISLON® ® zippered front with an internal storm flap, two hand pockets also height-adjusted to carry the pack's buckled hip belt, and an internal secure zippered pocket ideal for a phone or GPS.
