The base of the cap is a recycled Thermic™ fleece material, which is responsible for proper insulation. Breathability and wicking sweat away from the skin is provided by a structure with horizontal stripes on the inside, where larger and smaller amounts of insulation alternate. After a few uses, you will find that this system wicks sweat away better than previous models and also dries faster.
The Filament Beanie is such an excellent, lightweight and very comfortable beanie that is designed for many uses. You can use it when running in cold weather, cross-country skiing, cycling and, thanks to the snug fit, even under a helmet, for example, on a skialp.
